2004-12-15: AGU Meeting in San Francisco. I presented my work on SLHF related to Parkfield and Japanese earthquake at the 2004 Fall Union meeting. The meeting was a great success and I met again my collegues Dr. Sergey Pulinets and Dr. Dimitar Ouzounov.

2004-12-04: MY WEDDING: Santa Maria in Domnica 'alla Navicella', Roma, Italy

2004-11-03: Ph.D. Dissertation Defense: Johnson Center Cinema, 13.30, George Mason University

2004-09-12: Conference on Mathematical Geoscience, New York. Described the mathematical model behind the temporal data mining algorithm we are developing. Most noticeably I spent few hours discussing with Dr. Keilis Borok.

2004-07-01: Meeting in Athens: Start collaboration with U. of Athens remote sensing and physics group. I met Nikitas and Tatiana and became good friends.

2004-06-28:COSPAR Meeting in Paris: I presented my work on CQuake. I was given extra time by the chairman at the end of my presentation to answer further questions. My 20 minutes presentation was allowed to extend to 30 minutes.

2004-05-10:AGU Meeting in Montreal: I presented my work on SLHF as possible earthquake precursor at the 2004 Spring Union meeting in Montreal. I met again Dr. Sergey Pulinets.

 

2003

2003-09-01: Dissertation Topic: I have chosen my dissertation topic. It is related to spatial and temporal data mining of remote sensing and model data associated with impending earthquakes. I am working in close collaboration with Dr. Ramesh P. Singh, outstanding visiting professor from India.

2003-04: Great Honor: I joined the Center for Earth Observing and Space Research at George Mason University, under the direction of Dr. Menas Kafatos.
